1. Nationality Requirements

  • For IAS and IPS, candidates must be Indian citizens.

  • For other services, candidates from Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibetan refugees (settled before 1962) can also apply.

2. Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Final-year students can also apply, provided they complete their degree before the Civil Services Mains Examination 2025.

3. Age Limit and Number of Attempts

  • General Category: 21-32 years (6 attempts)

  • OBC: 21-35 years (9 attempts)

  • SC/ST: 21-37 years (Unlimited attempts)

  • PwD Candidates: Relaxation up to 10 years

4. Other Criteria

Candidates must meet physical and medical standards for specific services like IPS and IFS.
